Anna Dean Kamins
Anna has dedicated her career to fighting on behalf of those injured by the negligence, recklessness or disregard of others. Since 2001, she has pursued aggressive legal representation on behalf of plaintiffs in all areas of personal injury law, with a focus on pharmaceutical and medical device liability. Anna has been involved in some of the largest mass tort lawsuits in the country, representing thousands of injured claimants against major pharmaceutical companies like Wyeth, Eli Lilly, Johnson & Johnson, Janssen, Bayer, and Astra Zeneca, resulting in significant settlements.
Anna’s background is in the sciences. She attended Loyola University of New Orleans, where she received a dual degree in biology and chemistry before pursuing her master’s degree at the Tulane School of Public Health. She graduated from the University of Houston Law Center, where she was a Dean’s scholarship recipient and studied Health Law. Anna worked for several years for the law firm of Texas Trial Attorney John M. O’Quinn assisting with complex cases including silicone breast implant litigation, diet drug litigation, and occupational silicosis.
Anna handles all aspects of civil litigation, ranging from commercial contract disputes and consumer class actions to environmental work hazards and transportation injuries. She has represented clients for injuries ranging from birth defects due to antidepressants to severe injuries caused by NSAIDs, birth control and diabetes medications. She has also represented consumers nationally in class action lawsuits involving breach of contract, surcharges, and deceptive advertising.
Anna believes strongly in the American legal system and the right to trial by jury. She is a member of the American Association for Justice and the Houston Trial Lawyers Association. She is licensed to practice in the states of Texas and Mississippi and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas.
