Katherine “Kate” D’Aunno-Buchanan
Katherine “Kate” D’Aunno-Buchanan joined Daniel & Associates in October 2018. Her practice is focused in the area of plaintiff’s personal injury. Kate began her career exclusively representing clients injured on the job. She was one of the first attorneys in Texas to be recognized by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in the area of Worker’s Compensation for her knowledge and skill in that area. Kate was also honored to serve for 5 years as an Administrative Law Judge in the Texas Worker’s Compensation Division where she decided complex legal and factual issues for those seeking compensation for their work related injuries. Kate now represents clients injured by the negligence of others in motor vehicle accidents, harmful pharmaceutical drugs, work related injuries and other catastrophic events.
Kate received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and English Literature, from Southern Methodist University in 1988. She received her Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law 1994. Kate is admitted to practice in all state courts in Texas, as well as the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas.
